      A great company to work for in Europe. Plaid is predominantly a US-based firm, however, they are rapidly expanding in the UK. The interview process went smoothly, very similar to other BDR/SDR roles in the SaaS industry. The onboarding is thorough, they provide all the resources before you go live. Honestly, a great company, fast-growing industry (open banking) - once in a lifetime opportunity.

      The company is growing very quickly thus do not expect a structure you may find in other large orgs. You may be given all the tools to succeed at your job, however, it is up to you to learn and progress.

      Emotionally intelligent coworkers, great perks, respectable leadership

      Egregious expense abuse/weak oversight around spending. The money pumped into culture building and perks was a little much and it led to a baseline entitlement amongst employees, it was strange watching money flow so freely into nonessential spending. Call me old school. Also it was 2022 and layoffs were a threat so when the inevitable RIF happened it really felt like they prioritized the post grad entertainment budget over the salaries of hardworking employees.
