Revolving door of a dysfunctional agency that doubles as a frat house. Favoritism runs rampant, predominately for male employees. Unsurprisingly, upper management is only comprised of Caucasian males in their 40s/50s, perpetuating the Mad Men stereotype rather than moving forward to create an inclusive and diverse work space. It was disappointing to witness those in charge act like mean girls, inappropriately talking behind employees backs instead of working with the individuals to resolve their issues. All internal dysfunctions of the agency are laid out for all to see, from founders to interns. While there are several Creative Directors, none are willing to offer mentorship or guidance to the lower-level creatives. Ironically, lower-level creatives are often made scapegoats for failed outcomes of peculiar passion projects not properly communicated from leadership. Arrogant, condescending attitudes all around. The agency is built on negativity with little to no support, it’s not a collaborative environment. They hold in all criticism and displeasure, silently keeping score against you instead of encouraging growth and improvement. They praise creatives who directly trace and copy stock illustrations, claiming them as their “own” – interns who excel at this are asked to stay. There are simply too many cliché hands in the cookie jar. Room for growth is limited. They only promote advancement for employees of similar “mold”.
