Great co-workers, fast paced, tons of experience if you are looking to expand your Nursing career.

Fast paced, have to deal with doctors and some of them can be rude and hard to deal with. ICU can be mentally draining and you will see upsetting things (especially when working during Covid..) Pay was low compared to other hospitals/institutes.

The moral at Porter is nice. The employees are treated with respect. They are dedicated to patient care. I would recommend others to work there.

As a Respiratory Therapist, I do not feel I was able to provide services within my scope of practice. I have earned credentials & education. Too many decisions were taken out of my hands. In that respect, I felt like a controlled, crippled therapist.
