Vantaggi

Great for the self-starter. Good middle management. Pretty flexible - just get your work done. Great surroundings and office layout.

Svantaggi

This used to be a partnership of three senior managers who each brought their own professionalismto the organization. Premier is now down to one owner and populated the senior management with family members - all the way from sales management to CFO. This has led to a series of questionable business ventures (all failed or failing) such as; a steel supplier, military contracts, mining equipment and an armor plating company (originally destined for rural Idaho). The result has seen hard earned business capital being squandered on spin-off companies instead of investing in the core of the company. Employees no longer seem to be an investment - rather a comodity. Shame - this was a strong and proud company at one time.

Vantaggi

90% of the people at Premier are nice and welcoming.

Svantaggi

Reactive instead of proactive: Problems are always patched at the last minute instead of being fixed properly, which creates repeat issues. Lack of investment: The company avoids upgrading systems/tools even when they’re clearly outdated or broken. Poor communication: Employees are often left in the dark about changes until after they happen. Micromanagement or neglect: Depending on the day, leadership is either hovering unnecessarily or completely absent. Low morale and high turnover: Many talented people leave because of the environment. No career growth: Raises, promotions, or professional development are rarely supported. Hostile leadership: Owners/managers have been known to yell or curse at staff and customers. Disorganized priorities: Efforts are scattered — lots of “firefighting” instead of long-term planning.
