Svantaggi
Inhumane working conditions and long hours for the technicians on the floor. Needlessly bureaucratic system that requires qualification tests to perform simple tasks. More experienced technicians and process engineers are usually qualifiers, but their packed schedules and high turnover rates makes it difficult for new hires to receive qualifications. Being a process engineer at Tabler Station is not difficult; it is mostly paper pushing and reporting numbers. However, there is a dearth of technical expertise among the PE's which results in most work being offloaded to the technicians. Given their already arduous working conditions, this has resulted in a culture of resentment between the technicians and anyone working above them. There have been many instances where management had to work shifts in place of technicians due to issues with retention. Management is ultimately out of touch and unwilling to enact meaningful change. They are happy to squeeze as much labor as possible out of the floor workers to meet their bottom line. In addition, be careful if you are a young woman working as a technician or PE. Have personally experienced and heard of instances of inappropriate behavior from male technicians and upper management.
