I am actually so embarrassed that I leave this company off of my resume. During my time here there where multiple people that just stopped showing up. They didn’t give any notice and just walked out. I wish I had done the same. If you do get an offer read over your letter very very carefully. I’m not sure if they still do this but when I worked their the used to put in your offer that you were responsible to pay the recruiters fee if you didn’t stay for a year. It’s clear why they do this now. It’s to keep the turn over down and even with that it’s incredibly high. If you are looking for a job in Boston look else where. There are so many better companies that pay significantly more. There are two or 3 engineers that have been there for a very long time. They are decently nice and smart but one was harassing a female employee and caused her to leave. There is also no HR department so she had no one to talk to because the lifers can do no wrong in the ceos eyes. Stay away.

As Director of Operations and a partner who has worked at Quoin since 2012, I’d like to comment on the allegation made in this review about an incident of sexual harassment. Like many small companies, we do not have an HR ‘department.’ However, there is always a designated employee responsible for Human Resources, and it is well-known among the staff who that person is. Moreover, if there is any truth to this allegation, which we’ve never heard of before this anonymous post, there are several female partners in the firm, including me, who this person could have contacted. I can assure you any allegation of harassment would have been and will be taken seriously. If you have additional details, please reach out to me at hr@quoininc.com so we can address the issue whether or not the person responsible is still in our employ.
