7yThe pros and the cons suggest that the review is more of a personal stand point and cannot be viewed as something happening in routine. The role of every employee in this organization is performance linked and not process linked. Hence, the organization systems and process teach employees to do basic things correctly through continuous training programs. Periodic training sessions does not make an organization look like school. It is for the personal improvement of an employee and today after leaving this organization, the employee who has written this review has only stood to gain from all the training he/she has received and not left with the organization any of knowledge gained and lessons learnt during his/her tenure. The employee talks about job security, freedom to explore things, learn new technologies and salary in time. I believe what is mentioned makes this a very good environment to work with a nice culture in place. The employee has accepted the initial compensation in first place and has worked for one full year. If his/her appraisal was not great, then it is very clear that it was linked to his/her performance. In spite of continuous training to make an average performer become good, if one cannot uplift themselves, it is again very clear that the individual had not responded and not used the opportunities provided to him/her. A performance linked environment will always have some pressure and it is up to an individual to learn to handle them.
