8yI want to thank you for taking the time to share your valuable feedback. It is important to me that our staff feel safe in informally and formally raising concerns or complaints; and that they have confidence that the matters will be viewed or investigated appropriately and objectively. RDH is committed to maintaining and promoting a work environment where all employees are treated with respect and dignity and as such our policy for handling concerning allegations such as yours are clearly documented in our Employment Manual.
RDH takes allegations of all forms of harassment very seriously and complies with the requirements of the Human Rights Code and Federal and Provincial/State laws and policies.
Additionally, we have a Gender Working Group with objectives such as facilitating the creation of a support network with both formal and informal avenues for resolution of issues as they arise. The group also works to raise awareness around conscious and subconscious gender biases along with other similar objectives.
