- Company says they empower women but doesn’t pay their interns - No training whatsoever! (some variance between teams) - Very low pay with no perks/no perks that are affordable on such low salaries - Diversity is camera facing only. About 2 non white women in a company of 60 or so in London - Hiring/intern positions often go to friends of friends etc so the office is full of white private school girls who loosely know each other - cliquey. Or filled with people from the same previous companies - cliquey. Or co founders’ friends - cliquey. No commitment to true diversity or improving access or finding new talent. - Too many people pushed out by bad managers - Workload is unrealistic, employees encouraged to leave office at 6 but many work hours into the evening from home. - Overwork, lack of training, poor management and disorganisation dressed up as ‘learning opportunities’ - No HR & therefore no credible avenue for feedback - Entirely inefficient running of teams, tasks, departments, and the busy was - Continues to push ‘start up/small business’ reason as an excuse for not paying staff or vendors much, asking too many people to work for gifting, rather than money and making people take on 3 jobs roles at once - Exploits entry level employees who may not know what work should be like e.g. pay/expected hours, none of whom are being paid over £24k - Toxic positivity - outlining problems only to be told we have to ‘hold hands’ and useless platitudes, feels like you’re being gaslit constantly - Turnover of staff is alarming
