Vantaggi

The people are some of the most talented and genuine I've ever worked with. I enjoyed waking up in the morning knowing that I got to collaborate with positive, intelligent, and charismatic colleagues. The benefits are pretty nice - PTO is well above average, same with sick time. In my position, if you missed a couple of days you always had coverage. Paternity leave was well above average, but a lot of benefits I had when I first started were sunset (Charitable donation match, holiday gifts, lunch and learns, annual company retreats, etc.) The thing that really grinds my gears is the communication surrounding these cut benefits. It was framed as "We are trying to make sure we can keep all of our employees on". Cut to: nine months later and you've laid off 40% of your staff while having self-proclaimed record revenue in 2022. What am I missing here? I'd just like to add that my ~18 months at this company were some of the best of my life due to the relationships I've forged and the experiences I've had. I will admit that most of cons here stem from the bitterness of lofty prolonged expectations of what once was one of the best companies to work for in the US. That being said, I can confidently say my perspective is shared with a majority of my former colleagues.

Svantaggi

When I first started here in 2021, I told myself, "Wow, this is a great company where leadership really cares about the people. I'm going to be here for years and grow my career at an amazing company." Boy, did that change quickly. Total mismanagement of the business. With little-to-no foresight, they hired way too many people too late, and by the time the economy stabilized its rapid growth, it was over for all of those who were brought on, thrown to the wolves, and then reprimanded for their failure. The company was sold to a publicly traded company last year, and we all know what that means... the bottom line is all that matters - net profit. The last review cycle was incredibly underwhelming, all while everybody was overworked and the leadership team got a payout of over 30 million dollars. I understand that this is a business and that leadership has worked hard to build their company. I respect that, but please don't tell the team that "nothing will change" and that your "number one priority is the employees" because we all know that it isn't. The leadership team is completely detached from the rest of the company, and all the blame falls on the team, while any of the success is due to the leadership team's great capability. The sales team (of one - the CEO) doesn't properly set realistic expectations which leads to employee burnout and client satisfaction issues. When a client puts in their notice, there isn't leadership accountability or lessons learned, their focus was on how the team didn't live up to the expectations of the client - the very same unrealistic expectation that the CEO set to sign in this business without consulting the feasibility of it with the team who is actually doing the work. THIS is the number one problem. They are so concerned with maximizing revenue and profit, they overlook the core resource of the company - its people. The entire acquisition process has been incredibly disappointing. Only a year ago I would have given this company five stars, but it's been very clear to anyone there that now this is just like any other business, ROI DNA should change its mission statement.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review; we agree that our employees (past and present) are some of the most talented and genuine people we have ever worked with. It's a characteristic that we look for when hiring team members. In no way would we ever assign blame to a specific individual. We believe that we win and lose as a team. We are generous to our employees, but to adjust to the volatile market, we had to cut back on some of the job's perks and tried our best to do everything but layoff staff. We appreciate your feedback and feel free to contact me directly at dlakos@roidna.com if you'd like to speak further.

Vantaggi

A great culture adapted to a fully remote company. Client focused at all times, with a team approach to each client

Svantaggi

If the clients reduce contracts because of economic downturns, then layoffs happen - and it's not hard to see that coming.
