It’s very rewarding meeting the kids and connecting with them. You can learn a lot about the inner workings of case management because you get to tag along for home visits and youth contacts.

Communication is lacking, especially when you’re just interning. The staff sometimes forgets to include you in emails and you have to email them for their schedules.
