Solid base-pay, bonuses can be very nice but sometimes are hard to reach. Can be rewarding to help someone who had tried really hard to find a job, or assisting a client find the right candidate for the job.

Metrics, metrics, metrics. They micromanage the heck out of your day with all sorts of reports they have to track your success; They change their "key focus" every week and just add more and more to do every week without taking anything off your plate. They promise you promotions but unless you're on budget (which you can't always control especially when they make it hard to meet) you can kiss it goodbye... but they will make you work the job without the title or pay.
