- Contract positions are all without benefits and employer does not withhold taxes - Approximate hourly wage for a doctorate level career equates to less than minimum wage with all the below factors considered: - Ridiculously high client cancel / no show rate (roughly 40-50%) all of which is all unpaid - Multiple mandatory unpaid trainings and meetings required throughout year - Feast or famine client volumes with majority of 2023 being famine - Third party payment service utilized (bill.com) results in your wages being delayed at least a month, often times a lot longer - RecoveryOne only recently started utilzing an excel ledger to keep track of wages to be reimbursed to clinicians (if you are going to roll the dice with these shysters - definitely keep a personal track record of how many clients you screen and how often they attend to ensure you don't get underpaid)
