8yThank you for taking the time to leave a review. I’m so sorry to hear that you didn’t feel supported while you were working with us. Training and development is a big priority for us and our South East Asia-wide training programme aims to focus on specific learning and development areas throughout an employee’s career journey. There are many examples of people who have felt well supported during their career progression and many stay with us and are promoted from within, however in your case we appear to have missed the mark. I will absolutely continue to work with the management team to try to ensure we are supporting and developing our people wherever we can.
We also have internal channels like appraisals, confidential suggestion boxes and weekly one on ones with managers for our people to raise any areas where they may require additional support. Additionally, there is a clear grievance procedure which is communicated to employees so they can reach out to HR if they feel that they need to be heard. All managers are appraised and over 90% have been promoted from within. Treating others fairly and with respect are critically important to our business.
Working as a recruiter is a sales role so numbers and targets are part of the job. We know it’s not for everyone so this is something we try to make clear at interview stage.
Our employee base is largely locally sourced and when looking at promotions over the past few years there is no doubt that people who are performing consistently have progressed, regardless of where they are from.
Our people are the most important part of our business. We have many employees who are very proud of our company and what it represents, however for those who did not have a positive experience we would very much welcome the opportunity for a constructive conversation to understand where we can do better. Please feel free to contact me at SEA.HR@Robertwalters.com – Tricia Tan, HR Director – South East Asia. Thank you once again for your feedback.
