No jobs for permanent positions, you get the run around but new graduates are immediately hired. I’m surprised there’s no investigation into this. High teacher absences from permanent employees and nothing happens these people get to keep their jobs and not show up. Meanwhile subs and temps are hired at rates below the poverty line to fill in and do these jobs without sick pay or days off. The main office is so disconnected to what’s actually happening in schools and education as a whole. It’s embarrassing they’re pushing out dated programs like F&P while the rest of the US and Canada are using research and evidence to support their program choices. No professionals or people with experience are put into key roles like special ed, learning support, or literacy. You get those jobs by being friends with principals. Nepo tism is super high.
