It is a "sink or swim" environment, and unfortunately there are not enough instructions or resources to help the staff members to swim.
The upper level management is extremely out of touch with their lower level workers such as BHT's, and nurses. The upper level management does not deal with constructive criticism well, and seem to "take it out" on their workers.
I have personally seen the CEO side with a patient (who was in the wrong) over the Nurse who was in charge of the unit (who was in the right).
The starting pay of BHT's is ridiculously low, especially when compared to the lack of support and safety that SBHS provides.
