As long as you do what your expected to do, management should be happy about your performance. Customers tend to be very rude at times depending which are you work for, however as long as you do your job everything is ok. Also the union works with you whenever you have a problem.

People come and go all the time. It is also difficult to move up. When working for a privately owned Shoprite family and friends are the ones who get the management positions. Also, they are more stringent with pay and full time workers were replaced with partimers who earned less. When the one i worked at was corporate full time workers with higher wages worked there.
