Pay is reasonable, though could be better. Additional perks available (potential flexible working, can wear casual attire, work from home 3 days a week) Bupa healthcare and dental. Bike to work scheme. Social activities (many are peer pressured though and you are treated differently if you do not wish to participate)

Niche job using outdated tools, the CAD program used is from 1995. HR department do not care about staff equally. If you are part of their clique, you'll go far. Multiple staff members have quit citing poor management as the reasons, staff turnover remains fairly high, within this past year, of an office of appx 100 persons, at least 6 people have left the company. Replacements for these roles do not come quickly. Production work all being shipped out to India. I don't forsee production happening within the UK in 5 years time. Complete disconnect between management teams / hr, and workers. Very low morale within office. Don't ever consider asking for flexible working, they will refuse you regardless of the request. Unethical and immoral decision making on the part of HR and management. Management do not have the knowledge to be able to understand simple procedural implications. The same mistakea keep happening and nothing is learnt from these mistakes.

People are great, very knowledgable and willing to help get the job done. The customer experience team has really transformed how we work with customers which has been really great to see.

Some employees are remote but there is no rhyme or reason why. Sales leadership leads through fear and anger which makes for a toxic department and really unhappy employees on the front line. No onboarding at all, you show up on your first day and are just expected to know it all, especially if you are working in an office that isn't in Waterloo.
