Great way to make friends. Flexible hours that fitted around college/ uni life. Was trained many skills like cashing up, merchandising, price changing, IBT etc. Was given a lot of responsibilities.

Too much pressure to sell bags for life and got petty commission so was no point in selling them. awful area managers, (Harlow) who used to ignore all staff members. The higher authoritive members are bullies to store managers who then used to take it out on us for not selling bags for life of magazines Even though there was absolutely no incentive for us to sell as we got nothing from it. Awful pay and awful working environments, they didn't care about staff members working conditions (eg air con didn't work and we got told it was a luxury not a necessity). I spent 5 years working for the company and spent a lot of hours and time putting in a lot of hard work and I can honestly say I would never want to go back. The company need to understand their staff have a life outside of their part time job and we don't go home at night and cry if we didn't sell many bags for life etc unlike the low life scum who call themselves area managers or higher members of staff.
