Vantaggi
Some nice, highly qualified colleagues
Svantaggi
Not a decent employer. Here’s why: Absolutely no stability; Policies are introduced and cancelled within a few weeks (work from home, expenses & claims, etc.) Employees are terminated on the spot without any notice or explanation. Sometimes right after they’ve relocated to Cyprus with their families. Salaries are increased/decreased without specific criteria or structure. No performance reviews either. There is no communication between the teams and management. Decisions are made and employees are often not informed of important changes. Serious issues with management behaviour. CEO has the emotional capacity of a toddler - can throw a tantrum at any given moment, yell at you and insult you. Management considers daily insults in an open space, or even in writing a decent management tool. HR: crazy turnover there, nobody seems to cope with management. There’s a new team every couple of years. Note that confidentiality is not respected in any way. Any benefits other than salary are viewed as ridiculous and pointless. No 13th salary, no expense policy or any benefits that similar companies offer. Salaries are not competitive either. No diversity at all - almost all employees are male, aged 25-40 and come from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. Women and candidates from other countries are considered “lower quality” and locals are mainly for admin work. Sexism (and even harassment) is not addressed in any way. An entire wall of the office is “decorated” with photos of naked models and has been there for years, despite several complaints made. Old furniture, torn couches, dirty toilets and a teeny tiny kitchen for about 80 people. Low air quality (employees even brought their co2 detectors to confirm this). No company culture, very few events, no learning & development initiatives and lots of sour faces. Overall, not the best option for an employer - if you’re coming to Cyprus, there are far better choices.
