-May this serve as warning to Cybersecurity job seekers to avoid any Security Operations (SecOps/SOC) related role as the current manager is definitely not a people manager and his power tripping was unfortunately tolerated within the department. Senior leadership unfortunately does not have conflict resolution skills and will just throw you to HR once you raise/escalate concerns. -No training, vendor/external. -Subjective KPI and metrics. -Security Operations Manager's poor communication skills. -Security Operations Manager's questionable "leadership" background.
