Salaries are decent but not worth the aggravation and toxicity of the work environment. Great opportunities to learn foundation of PR. Lots of room for creativity within clients.

Although employees are expected to have the perseverance a PR professional should, they are not rewarded accordingly with flexible work schedules (i.e. woking from home), free Friday lunches and other incentives set by individual teams. Despite being told the company only works 9 - 5, anyone who tries to leave before 6 is made to feel like they're doing something wrong and despite everyone working extremely hard and long hours, employees are often scolded for not working as hard as management.
Management sets unrealistic expectations and if you don't produce you are gone. There is a significant lack of direction from senior management for younger staffers and it’s not really a good place to continue your career. Most of the staff are older folks who have been working with each other for years.
Management expects you to not have a life outside of work, but also to not have a life inside of the office. Any type of office camaraderie is deeply frowned upon. This makes for a very harsh, quiet culture. Very unrealistic! Very cheap about sick time and vacation. Salaries are about average.
They seem like they are always hiring because they are -- extremely talented PR pros crumble within a few months and are brutally fired or just save themselves and quit.
