Hi, Sol here I am replying to this because people are everything to a business and I spend the vast majority of my time thinking about how to ensure Stint is an amazing environment for every single person. I was very sad to read this post and would like to think this is very much the exception in terms of people’s experience here at Stint. That said and as the post mentions, we are young founders and this has inevitably led to us making mistakes over the course of the last two and a half years. While the early and frankly hectic period of trying to get Stint off the ground meant we probably did not have as much time to focus on making Stint’s culture the best it can be, this has changed significantly. This is shown by the fact we have had almost no one leave voluntarily in the last 15 months - one through relocation. We have numerous processes to ensure that we have the best sight possible on everything culture related in the business and this culture is embodied by the values we have tried to ingrain in the business through; kindness, integrity, ambition and energy. These are genuinely built into the company now and something we see every employee at Stint embodying on a day-to-day basis. Operationally, we do culture catch ups every quarter where the team can tell us what they like and don’t like and we have an ‘always open’ anonymised 360 feedback system should people find it difficult to voice their concerns in this environment. While we may have made some mistakes in the past, we would like to think that we have now created a truly unique and happy environment in which our employees feel comfortable and able to thrive. I was deeply upset to read your experience at Stint and would be more than happy to chat with you and try and understand it further
