Vantaggi
Study Breaks is a great place to start for anyone working towards a career in writing. Although you need to pitch ideas for approval, you're mostly able to write about whatever you want. While I worked there, writers also participated in weekly feedback sessions with other interns, as well as one-on-one meetings with the editor-in-chief. You also receive notes from your editor for each article you submit. Basically, there's plenty of opportunities to receive constructive criticism and improve as a writer. Finally, the workload is fairly light, as you're only required to write one article and submit three pitches per week. For those in the middle of college classes, it's a good way to earn internship credits without adding too much work to your schedule.
Svantaggi
Students looking for a paying job won't find anything here. Every position at Study Breaks is unpaid, and there's barely any opportunities for growth in the company. Working here isn't bad for a short-term internship, but don't expect anything more than that.
