9yThank you for your feedback,
I actually agree with many of your comments.
I've circulated your feedback to the management team here, in fact here is a copy of that email:

There's a new Glassdoor review published last week.
I'm not concerned with WHO wrote it but WHAT meaningful feedback we take from the comments:
1. Over bearish, dogged senior management style. Very little trust in employees to manage their own time and work loads.
This point is one for all managers to consider.
I believe that with the work I intend for us to do over the coming months in terms of growth mindset, coaching and management practice, that any past tendencies to not empower team members will not be a problem in future.
Comments such as this underline the necessity for us to focus on this as a priority and offers up a challenge to each and every one of us to do better.
2. An overall lack of forward thinking, planning and innovation. It's seen as an easier task to fall back on old proven methods rather than develop something futuristic and revolutionary when the technical talent is clearly available to do so.
Not an unfair comment...
3. Very little, if any planning of training for employees. In a year I don't think I was once asked how the company could improve my knowledge for the position I worked in to help me advance in my role or career.
Maybe this person didn't have a PDP - or if they did it was just treated as a box checking exercise.
Again, with a concerted and continuous focus on growth mindset and self improvement Fridays I hope that comments such as these stay firmly in the past.
4. There are persistent issues of sexism and harassment which can sometimes be of a sexual nature, albeit from a very small percentage of staff, this however was taken up with the owner and to my knowledge has gone completely unactioned, unacceptable.
Of all the comments this one troubles me the most, primarily as I was not aware of any issues.
I have had conversations about this with HR and they in turn have spoken with a few team members.
All the responses back so far says there does not appear to be any known issues of sexual harassment. Any such behavior would be subject to immediate disciplinary proceedings in strict accordance with our policies.
I would ask all of you to be vigilant in ensuring that each and every one of your team member's enjoys the basic principle of being able to work in a safe and secure environment free of any form of harassment or bias.
