An ego-driven, incompetent, disorganized, and negligent leadership team. With the exception of the agency (which has it's own set of issues but functions much better than the rest of the company), Superfly lacks ethics, integrity and most importantly, basic business sense. Any of Superfly's "success" can be attributed to the blood, sweat, and tears (literally) of its overworked employees. The company has rested on its Bonnaroo and festival laurels for years, and from the outside, it can appear to be fun and functional. It's not. Everyone at the top is focused on themselves, their unrealistic strategies and projects, and partner politics. They do not care about the employee experience and have shown no serious commitment to building a positive and inclusive work environment. They rely on middle managers and staff to lead morale and D&I initiatives rather than doing the work themselves. It's a highly inequitable workplace with seriously harmful gender dynamics and flagrant nepotism/favoritism at play. Entry level staff are exploited, and women are undervalued and underutilized.
