Surfly has an amazingly diverse and smart team that is focused on building and growing the company. It has an overwhelmingly positive vibe focused on doing great work with the freedom to try new things, and if they don't work, then learn from them and move on. Being a fairly flat org, we are given quite a bit of freedom to get our day-to-day work completed as well as to continaully try new things. We analyze what worked and why, what didn't and why, and then we take those learnings and move forward. Once we have our learnings, we don't spend a lot of time dwelling on the things that didn't work: just take our new knowledge and move on. The Surfly team in general is a truly international group of friendly, approachable, helpful, and strong believers in the power of our technology and what it can do. The company works hard to build cross team relationships and did quite a bit during Covid lockdowns to help the team bond as the company grew but could not be together in person.

The only downside for some people is that we are a fast growing company in scale-up mode, so the pace can be fast, things can change quickly, and not all proccesses are defined. For some poeple who are used to a much more structured work environment, this can be difficult.
