Vantaggi
Absolutely nothing is good about this place. The coffee is nice if you buy it from the food deli and you can afford it.
Svantaggi
Well where do I start, if you have read any of the other reviews about the GDC in Letterkenny and seemed to be horrified by them, well i will tell you that they are true. The place is a shambells. No management at all, HR doesn't care and it's a free for all. I remember before TCS took over, everything was running well. Then we where smothered by a different culture and pushed aside. They have never heard of SSO so expect to enter your password at least 50 times a day. Getting pointless emails in your inbox about some guy winning some award that you never heard tell of. The office is empty, not because everyone is working from home it's because everyone left. Must be only 50 in office now, 500 odd work from home and the rest (near 800-900) all flew away to nice jobs elsewhere. The business vendors are unhappy with a below average service so they run as well. They never stay for long. Staff are left on the bench and your expected to learn something new or youl be resigned to the office full time (regardless of how far you live away) The whole transition could have been better handled with a bunch of kids than the people responsible for it. Interns and grads are leaving after a few weeks cause there is either no work for them or TCS bores them with training so they leave. All you hear is "job security" if you tell them your leaving. They threaten you with a recession, war or something else to get you to stay. Bonus is a random number plucked out of a hat, nobody knows how much it will be and youl get a few % wage increase every year. It won't amount to much cause as they think Donegal wages are expensive as it is (lowest in Ireland). Promotions, you will be waiting, unless your senior management. A certain senior manager even joked in a town hall that "there was no more money left in the kitty" when it came to staff promotions. Even though the senior management all got a nice pay increase that year. All you will see is unhappy staff walking about or chained to desks (well not chained but they might as well with the amount of work they have) In India, it's even worse, they expect staff to work 40-60 hour weeks (6-7 days at a time). They will take them away from their families and if they refuse they could be fired on the spot. I survived for as long as I could but I had to go, can't work for a company like that. It's a disgrace that's it's allowed to operate.
