The Channel Company is the leading media, events and marketing services company in the U.S. Although the company has technically only been in business 18 months it is actually a spin out of UBM and has operated as a channel focused business unit for 30+ years. The company has maintained its leadership position by being very customer centric and by constantly evolving the set of platforms, solutions and services to meet customer needs. I have been with the company for more than a decade and have found the environment to be empowering-it’s a flat organization and if you have an idea or a better way to do something you can just do it! I have also found the employees to be very hard working and loyal to the company and eachother. It is a very supportive culture, people collaborate, work together well and have fun together! Thing I love most is the passion about the market we servie—the channel.

Not a lot of management so you are kind of on eyour own. Have to be a self starter and be resourceful. Growth and promotion is somewhat limited. We have come out of a touch economy and recetnly spun out so raises have been very limited but benefits are good.

- fantastic schedule & work-life balance - unlimited PTO (that they actually let us use) - in-depth onboarding with plenty of hand-holding - job security & company growth - great teammates & leadership - strong female leadership - strong communication & process documentation -- I don't waffle around trying to understand what I need to do - encouragement of AI tools in use at work--save lots of time & energy on basic things that the various AI scripts can do.

Svantaggi

- salary a little lower than industry standard (but still acceptable, considering the flexibility in the work) - lots of rigor in the processes--particularly if you are with AWS or similar partners that have a ton of specific programs and program reqs you need to know to best advise your partner set - Some tedium tied to being in a contractor type role--mirroring calendars, juggling multiple laptops, not really feeling that I can say I work for TCC (must say AWS). Very minor inconvenience.

We’re glad the flexibility of our remote model and our approach to PTO are coming through positively. Supporting autonomy in how and where people work remains a core focus for TCC.
