My time at The Conference Forum was largely characterized by misdirection and miscommunication. I had several issues with my manager the largest being given very little training and a lack of communication which caused unnecessary friction between us. Whenever there was an issue and I attempted to talk to them, I was met with silence or my comments were not addressed, or they were ignored. This left me feeling confused and afraid of asking questions, which is something a new employee should never feel. I also wanted to indicate that my very role at the company was never clarified which caused further confusion for me as an employee. For example, when I first started at the company, the CEO said I would be doing design work for the company. The week before my role ended, I was told "this is not a design role." In totality, I received far too many mixed messages from this company which left me feeling confused and unsupported by my coworkers. I would not recommend working at this company for these reasons.
