When I started at the Works in September 2018 for my 4-month co-op term, I never expected that 4 months later I wouldn't want to leave to go back to school!
At the beginning of my work term, I was welcomed into the studio with open arms by every employee. It was very evident to me that each employee at The Works wanted to contribute to making my work term as successful as possible.
Everyone in the studio brings something to the table, as everyone has a vast skill set and knowledge to contribute to the company. I can easily say that it is the best group of people I have had the pleasure working with.
The jobs and projects that flow in and out of The Works studio are each completed with a high level of dedication, quality and precision by each employee. I personally could not believe how detail oriented each employer was to ensure that each job was successfully completed.
I am grateful for the many opportunities that my 2018 Fall work term at The Works Design Communications provided me with, allowing me the chance for tremendous personal improvement by encouraging me to take risks and see how high I could reach.
I would like to recognize The Works for being such an outstanding employer during my 2018 work term. Their contributions to the Dalhousie Co-op program and my personal success are being recognized at Dalhousie's Co-op Awards night by being a finalist for Top Co-op Employer in 2018!
I would highly recommend The Works as an employer as they take so much pride in making sure that their employees are a priority.
