Poor management, very unorganised and not fully equipped to carry out their roles Promised extensive training in my probation meeting which was never given to me, ending with me being let go as “I wasn’t progressing as much as they’d like me to” - because I hadn’t been trained correctly Was told I was being let go out of the blue at 5pm on a Wednesday evening, an hour before I was due to finish work - very out of the blue with no warning whatsoever No support with stressful workloads, whatsoever Felt very isolated within the team of people I worked with, didn’t feel very welcome when I started - this continued up until leaving No monthly probation reviews Constantly being told “you’re not doing good enough” rather than “we’ve noticed your work performance hasn’t been great, is there anything we can support you with?” Totally not on the ball with mental health whatsoever, as I was made to feel guilty for taking time out for therapy appointments The work/life balance was incredibly hard for me to manage as I didn’t get home until late due to a long commute so didn’t feel like I had much time to myself during the week
