Vantaggi
* Good Food, decent office space, open desks * Macbook * Cool place - Open to let you learn. A very safe, nurturing environment to settle down.
Svantaggi
* Excellent people are fleeing away from this place for the past couple of years. So, ThoughtWorkers are getting sparse in offices. * With limited good folks remaining (who challenge and voice relevant opinions), ability to deliver is taking a hit and happens only by chance. Willingness to run "difficult" projects, taking on full accountablity is very low. This has started affecting creation of value (impact to clients) and morale within teams. * The need for stable money: translates to very little technically challenging work. Lots of news around why those projects are strategic and 'cool' will be dished out. * Lots of "cool" things are mostly hyper-propagated; material aimed at recruitment. * There is a strong focus on getting the right pyramid in a project; so peer learning is considerably reduced within a project. If you are a senior, you may find yourself more alone than amongst peers from who you can learn and share. * Brand value is dimnishing fast, work culture faster. Heads / leaders are neither capable nor connected with teams. They live their own life attending meetings and listening to what other regions do. * Overall, it has become an organisation that will "transform" itself every two years and go backwards - of course, in ThoughtWorks you can reverse yourself and claim to be moving forward :)
