Management tends to hang on to unproductive employees too long.

The company is small, so it may take time to move up, but management looks out for you and will help you get to the position that suits you best. The key is having patience, and proving you are valuable to the team. As long as you don't sit back watching Netflix or golf, or shopping all day, and actually show interest in your work, this is a company where you can have a career. (But if you're willing to sit back like that at work, you clearly don't have the drive to make it at any company.) Management has the opinion that all ideas are welcome, they have heard me out many times. They're open and honest that they'll listen to you but that doesn't mean every idea will be used, sometimes only a form of the idea is put into action. But at least they're willing to hear us out and work with us.

Massive amounts of complaining from employees, especially long time employees who can't handle change. Their tongues can be sharp like knives and often attempt to stab management in the back if they don't like when things change. Hey, we're just trying to keep up with an ever evolving industry, keep up or get out! Management is aware of this problem and actively working to cut out the cancer, which is appreciated by most other employees.
