Insurance premiums are expensive and always have been. If you have a wife and children be prepared to pay over $1k/month in PPO premiums. Absolute insanity. PTO maxes out at 3 weeks. They give you an extra week after you work there for 5+ years, but then they take the extra week PTO away from you the following years! Limited career growth potential. This was NOT the case in 2016 when I was hired. This has been the case since the post covid era however. When you are inevitably deemed expendable, you’ll be treated as if they did you favor employing you to begin with and give you two weeks severance to recognize your years of hard work. You will be expected to work 50+ hours and be compensated as a salaried employee being paid for 40 hours. Why do you think Trues clients required consultants to begin with?!? Their clients don’t want to pay FTE benefits so they contract with True and pass the expectations along to you!
