Vantaggi
I worked at Upbring for over a decade and witnessed many changes in leadership throughout my time there. I also had the opportunity to work closely with leadership and see firsthand what goes on behind the scenes to ensure employees are supported, valued, and heard. That experience gave me a unique perspective on the organization's commitment to its people. Looking back, one of the things I miss most is my teammates and the culture at Upbring. It truly is unlike any other workplace I've experienced. The way employees are treated and genuinely cared for speaks volumes about the organization. The work can be challenging, and some roles carry heavier demands than others, but there is a deep sense of purpose behind what you do every day. One thing I can confidently say is that waking up each morning and knowing your work is making a difference in the lives of children and families is incredibly fulfilling. While no organization is perfect, the mission, the people, and the supportive culture made my years at Upbring meaningful and rewarding. The relationships I built and the impact of the work are things I continue to value long after leaving.

As a nonprofit, Upbring relies heavily on grants and funding sources, which can sometimes create budget constraints and shifting priorities. However, leadership goes out of its way to recognize employees and show appreciation for their hard work, while also ensuring programs do the same for their teams.
