Get-it-done mentality. Lots of folks who genuinely care about what they're doing. Great product!

Hectic month-end in production. Weak lower to middle management. Could be fixed with some training and better personnel in certain roles.

The job is easy to learn. First search for all the wire and parts needed. Lay out a drawing on a magnetic board. Assemble the harness according to the schematic provided. Test the harness to confirm electrical connections are correct. Diagnose any issues and turn the harness in. The job is not fast-paced at all compared to other factory jobs but you still need a sense of urgency to maintain the required production numbers.

The entire electrical department is an unorganized mess. There are a handful of people who keep their work area neat and organized. This is not a deal breaker, but it does slow down production a good bit having to search for misplaced parts. Their method of counting production is inconsistent between job orders. There is a build time that is associated with each job order. Some build times are realistic but it seems like most are not. Im not the fastest or slowest worker but the entire department is constantly at around or even below 50% efficiency according to their numbers. 10-hour shift Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays required.
