Vantaggi
- Lucky if you get good and supportive colleagues. - Good stepping stone in your career. Not the best company to stay for a long time. - There is a 30% staff discount but that is if you have the extra money to spend. We control most of the stuff you see at the airport so most brands you see on their portfolio you can’t use the discount at normal stores. We only control like 10-15 ish brands in total outside the airport.
Svantaggi
- Low pay and benefits range - No wfh policy and non flexi hours will get to you in the long run if your commute is 1 hour plus the long working hours - Apparent favouritism and office politics - Little to no career progression - Medium to high employee turnover(probably bc they don’t listen to their staffs & pay them equally). It seems like with every new guy coming in there’s at least 1 in the process of resigning/putting down their resignation letter. - You are expected to be available for them to ping you even during your holidays and annual leaves. - No work/life balance. - Honestly, only downside is the low pay and benefits package, expecting you to reply to their pings, and no hybrid work options. Everything else is ok if you have good colleagues. - Instead of 8hrs/day it’s 8.5hrs/day and when your salary is low I’m telling you right now it’s not worth it. - Hr informed work hours is the typical 9-6 but when the contract comes it’s written 9-6.30.
