Vantaggi
I've met some really good people here. I love my coworkers. Pay is pretty good.
Svantaggi
Any mentions of change and innovation are merely lip service. Solutions to problems are short-term, shortsighted, reactive, band-aid solutions (in all levels and departments). One such example is a recent round of layoffs after losing a client. Those let go had nothing to do with said client, and the rest of us are left with fear and low morale. Budget cuts ensure that we'll be looking at half-painted walls and wires hanging from the ceiling at least until 2018 (and they've been in that state for 9 months already). Even before that, the office was a dingy, depressing environment. Employee culture is nonexistent. Poor communication on all levels. My manager in particular is someone whom I neither like nor trust. They are unreasonably strict on allegedly salaried employees, and HR can't/won't do anything about it. I cannot be honest with them or ask questions about their latest arbitrary change to my job functions. I have a feeling that this manager is setting my group up for failure, so that they have reason to fire us.
