Really, there are some very good people that work here. The model is undergoing some changes. If you just want a standard day job, its an ok place to work. The owner is a very well spoken individual and truly wants the best for his company. I can attest to the fact that the place is very dynamic, and when a big contract comes in, there is money to be made.

Svantaggi

Performance expectations, as an entire company, are very high. There are several reasons for this. As with many companies, the weight of this burden, overextending, falls on the front line: warm and cold call sales.

I moved to Austin with only enough money for a few months rent. I took the first job that I was offered and I am still here 5 years later. This company has provided me opportunity, growth and great people to work with. I enjoy the work environment and have no plans to leave.

I currently do not have any particular cons to discuss in regards to Viametric. When I find myself upset about something with my job it is usually a reflection of my personal state of mind.

A salary. Mid level sales make $36k salary + tiered commission. 24k + tiered commission for entry level. Realistic commission monthly was $300 - 500 per month, -/+ $150ish

Cubicle environment. Telamarketing. Sitting down for 4 hours, lunch, sitting down for 4 more hours+ Job for entry level is 8 hours of coldcalling, which ends up being about 150-200 calls per day. Mid level sales people are dealing with responses to email campaigns to thousands of corporate email addresses from lead gen lists provided by third parties. They may also make some cold calls. Generally 1-2 sales per day, sometimes 3-4 on luckier days. Ends up being 10-20 sales per month for most employees, 25-30 for luckier/more skilled employees.
