Svantaggi
Military friendly? No, my regional had the balls to ask me if I volunteer for mobilizations and duty to get out of work. My drill schedules weren’t honored and I was always getting scheduled on my duty weekends. I would be scheduled for late nights prior and the day after my duty days so I would not have time to pack before or recover afterwards. As a Staff Sergeant in the Army reserves many responsibilities are entrusted to me and I will not place my 15+ years of service on the back burner. Communication? Little to none. I would go months without a peep from my managers. No follow ups and no good jobs/bad jobs. Managers and supervisors would “thumbs up” my messages. Scheduling? Poor. Many times I would be scheduled for “clopening” shifts, ie late night shift then an early morning less than 8-10 hours later. On several occasions near the end of my employment my schedule was changed the night prior and the morning of my day off. This was addressed with management and with some discussion it was quickly resolved. I stated to them that they are entitled to change my schedule at a whim. However it is unethical to not notify me. Also please note above on the military friendly block that they did not honor my drill schedule multiple months conservatively. Finally, Statistics. Managers are dead set on numbers no matter how they get them. I have encountered what we call in this department “fluffing” as in LPs add items to stops and recoveries to make them look better. Sometimes as even as far as fabricating reports in which a little bit of cctv review could have easily remedied yet the effort was not put in to do so. Yes it’s great to promote LPs that make many stops and recoveries, but this company tends to promote LPs that have a history of bad stops and outright lying. Stats mean nothing without integrity.
