Very unprofessional company. All departments made A/R the scapegoat for their own individual issues. If A/R caught their mistake they would retaliate. If A/R made a mistake they would pursue disciplinary action. The controller and accounting manager made the A/R manager their scapegoat. When we got a new CFO, and when it came to looking through our departments issues they pretended like they were unaware of the issues. When our manager asked for resources to clean up the issues that were already in place they informed her that there was a hiring freeze. They set her up to be fired. While the A/R manager was on medical leave, they eliminated her position. When they hired someone else, they profusely bashed her and made her look like she did not do anything to fix the issues.
