Wevr does cool projects and works with cool celebrities. Most of the staff they hire are good people, if they stick around/aren't fired.

Svantaggi

Be prepared to crunch. Upper management are disorganized, with lots of infighting. You will suffer if your project is on the "wrong side." Management will lie to you. The pay and benefits are low for what is asked for you. If you work for Wevr your life will get worse.

As of this response, we're actively addressing some of the feedback listed above. Specifically, we're working with an external consultancy to review things such as our compensation and benefits to ensure that they remain competitive for the market as well as provide coaching and support in other areas. Additionally, we took some time as a company to think about our culture, vision, and values and have put measures in place to encourage more communication with the leadership team and folks supporting the studio. Every person deserves to be treated with respect and we hope that we're making improvements based on feedback like this. Great team to work with. This is the second startup I've worked with and so far, I think the communication has been great. There's a lot of work, which is good and a lot of room to grow.

Takes a little more time to learn and understand the work since the company is smaller.

I've been contracting with Wevr on and off for over 4 years now, the last 3 of which I've been a working steadily on projects. With that context; - Leadership is readily available for communication with team members. - Leads give you a chance to grow in your rolls at the company. - Compensation matches growth. - Actively trying to build a culture that fosters success. - Get a chance to work on some truly amazing content with some of the worlds best IPs. - Remote positions available. - Considerate of your personal life. - You own your successes.

Svantaggi

- They are a smaller company, this can be a pro, but comes with drawbacks. - You need to take initiative and communicate with leads. - The other side of the "you own your successes" coin is you also own your mistakes, as a small company people know when you've dropped the ball on your team/project.
