-lack of clear internal communication between upper and lower level staff -Lack of meaningful change. Promises are made for things to get better or systems to improve but these are empty and never come to fruition. If they do, they are more in the interests of the company than the staff. -Strategic ignorance. The company/management will dodge questions about improving staff wages and will often argue there is no money in the business, yet continue to open stores and demonstrate growth. They are more concerned with investing in the business than in the staff. This isn't a bad thing, but can be very upsetting and frustrating when you are told the company is doing well and never seeing or feeling it yourself. -Lack of respect -Very high expectations for very low compensation -Very large workload for very low compensation / emails, calls, shipping, packing / repairs, part exchange and face to face sales -Staff discount scheme is described in vague terms and changes depending on who you talk to about it, some managers will say there is no such thing as a certain policy while others will say there is. Causes confusion and frustration.
