Vantaggi
You can learn from some of the people here, just beware of those who will take advantage of you.
Svantaggi
Pay is low, and 100% commission. Nothing wrong with that per se, but the average "Training Managers" make about $300 a week. Some individuals make more, but it isn't typical. Long hours. You will not be taken seriously if you do not put in six 12-hour days a week. They start you offor with an easy 9-10 hours a day, then wean you up. Unprofessional environment. Just because people come in wearing a suit and tie, doesn't make it more professional when you have to clean up the decrepit ping pong table the president of the company was playing with the night before every morning. If you own your own car, you will be expected to drive it to events. They may stay you with closer ones, but eventually, you will be at events over an hour away. You may occasionally get money for gas, mostly in the beginning, but at some point, they'll blame you for not managing your money better. Any work you do outside of selling is free, and the more you do, the more you will be given to do. This is spun as positively as possible, but ultimately, it is to keep overhead down. Management will encourage you to lie to your customers, and has no compunctions about lying to you. Including how much money they make. Most of that is sitting in a bank account they don't have the debit card to, and they get in trouble for using. It can be taken away by people higher up the food chain easily. But they will also lie to you about things having to do with your own position. They will say whatever they think they have to to get results.
