- if you don't look, act and talk a certain way, there is no way you can become one of the decision makers in the business. - I have heard from 5 female managers that the CEO made them cry in more than 1 occasion. These are only the ones that came forward. HR is aware and has zero power against this, the whole business normalised a 'boss' that shouts and belittles everyone and makes them cry. - Your mental health will be detoriated if you're at managerial level - Pay is very low compared to industry standards - Senior execs will lie to you during your interview, tell you what you need to hear about the role and not deliver any of the promises they threw your way - Systems, processes infrastructure etc. are 10+ years old and the CEO himself is very resentful to any changes - Workload is 10x more than an average role, because there is no automation as the systems are VERY old and everything is manual - One man's world. CEO is the sole decision maker; he is unable to allocate responsibility. Work culture evolved in a way that no one even bothers to move a finger as long as the CEO is involved in the project which makes things go SUPER slow or most of the time not move at all.

We are sorry that you did not enjoy your time with us. It is a real shame that the role at Wowcher didn't work out as either of us would have wished and that, ultimately, we made the difficult decision to part company with you earlier this year as performance of the channel was not moving in a positive direction. We accept that you may have found your role, at times, stressful and difficult. We, sadly, did take the decision, for sound business reasons, not to move forward with some of your recommendations which is perhaps why you found challenge and resistance to your proposed changes. Wowcher has a very diverse workforce at all levels and many staff join as new graduates and go on to take us senior positions, so we were surprised by your comments about how people need to look and act as that does not reflect our business. We wish you all the best in your future career and hope that you can find an environment that is better suited to your preferred ways of working.

Not many, use your short the time while there to practice and build on Excel and Salesforce knowledge. Some of the people are nice to work with.

If you get a role here as a recent graduate do not stop applying for other more serious roles. Aim to stay 3-6 months max. Career progression is almost non-existent. Pay is very low for London. Turnover is high. Systems are outdated making work longer rather than more efficient. Work is repetitive and unexciting. Company is struggling. Management look out for themselves. Praise received is very short lived but an error will always be held hanging over your head. Managers will micromanage and add additional workload for little to no monetary benefit.
