This place is where the CEO sacrifices your sanity to line his pockets. If you’re thinking about joining, please run far away and do not look back. I promise you haven’t missed out on an opportunity worthwhile. The first red flag of this god forsaken place - the turnover rate of staff. Every few weeks someone is leaving. The new starters don’t even last longer than a day anymore. They’ll also fabricate reasons to fire you if they think your salary is better invested in the holidays of seniors. Due to the staff disappearing faster than you can blink and them refusing to replace said lost staff, your workload is tripled, then they’ll complain when you can’t meet targets. Efficiency at its finest? And if you ask for a pay raise to make up for doing 5 different roles, you won’t even be acknowledged as a human being. Think of it like being in a relationship with a narcissist. Don’t bother confiding in HR either – they get paid for confidentiality, but the entire office will know your business before you’ve had a chance to log back in. On that same topic, the only black HR member was fired – with a rumour started by the CEO’s assistant that reeks of micro-aggressive racism. And can’t forget that your colleagues have been known for absurd racist remarks, but they somehow keep getting promoted. Is it because the CEO has given us MAGA hats while dressing as Trump? Beats me. As for the renowned CEO, every time his name comes up, it’s because he’s verbally abused a member of staff, bonus points because it’s usually always a woman he’s sent to tears. Didn’t we learn that shouting is not nice? He’s a goon running a company like a toddler with a knack for tantrums. If it isn’t enough to convince you to stay away, how about the fact that this company is implicated in constant lawsuits for defrauding customers. Please make your way back to linkedin and save yourself from the rotten hell of Wowcher. And if you think you could beat the system just by going for promotions, you won’t. Unless you can sacrifice your mental health, succumb to abuse, relinquish your morals, and offer yourself up to be torn to shreds. That’s how you become pally enough to even be considered for a promotion – to hell with professional merits. It’s a breeding ground for toxicity.

Not many, use your short the time while there to practice and build on Excel and Salesforce knowledge. Some of the people are nice to work with.

If you get a role here as a recent graduate do not stop applying for other more serious roles. Aim to stay 3-6 months max. Career progression is almost non-existent. Pay is very low for London. Turnover is high. Systems are outdated making work longer rather than more efficient. Work is repetitive and unexciting. Company is struggling. Management look out for themselves. Praise received is very short lived but an error will always be held hanging over your head. Managers will micromanage and add additional workload for little to no monetary benefit.
