Vantaggi
There has been a lot of turnover in leadership which has moved the company in a more promising direction. Our new CEO and CFO (new as of mid-2021) have really done a great job changing the culture within our organization and I really feel supported from the top down. Focus has been turned on retaining talent, rewarding hard work, and encouraging internal growth and development. While hard work is encouraged it is never mandated. I have worked for several managers during my time at Wurk and never once have I felt pressure to work unrealistic hours. My managers have done a great job supporting me and helping me to find a good work-life balance to make sure I am not taking on more than work than I should be and to help prevent me from burn-out. Our new CFO, Navin, has done an incredible job building rapport with employees, he listens to the needs and concerns of employees, and he provides his genuine support to his team. He has truly been a saving grace within the organization. Finally, the organization has really done a great job supporting its employees. Through improved company benefits, changing bonus structure, providing unlimited PTO, offering generous parental leave, etc., Wurk has really worked on putting their employees first and it is really encouraging.
Svantaggi
There has been a lot of turnover within the organization during my time, which puts a lot of pressure on the employees that decide to stay. At times it is very discouraging, especially when the great employees leave, because it feels like a setback and it makes it hard to move forward and continue making progress. The turnover has improved recently, but its still a lingering issue. My hope is the company continues to encourage retention and positive attrition. There is no 401K match which is a huge letdown. There has been talk about setting this up, but it has not happened yet.
