Career advancement is business comes first and not by fairness & respect.The did not have open door policy like they always saying. The only open door policy that they have is the door is open for you to go look job at other place and not to complain to the management. If you do have concern to them, they will just cut your concern by telling you that they know it but they just could not do anything about it and then after that they will put pressure on you.
