Vantaggi
This review is based on how they were before the mergers and name change so it's kind of moot now but still would be helpful. I learned a lot about work culture there.
-Co-workers could be enjoyable to work with if you were favored by the owner and management or were useful to them.
-Hands on development experience.
-Lunch events, too often sometimes.
Svantaggi
-Favoritism work culture was unhealthy, made it kind of a sick environment. People who do well here and go far was friends with the managements, owner, and his family employee.
-Management seemed like they were good at first but did not have their stuff together. One manager will put you to work on something that will lead to nowhere or tasks with no practical solution. Another manager will assign you smaller tasks that are doable but won't prioritize the more important one you did to do simple QA.
-Developers were too focused on other work and offered little to no help when needed.
-Co-workers can be a little culturally insensitive at times. Had a test account named tester******* for a week until they deleted it and the person wasn't even from there.
-Owners can be a little overzealous at meetings and will pick on one or two employees for no reason.
-Co-workers communication skills were inconsistent. They will say that they are your friend and send you messages to mess with you. Then they'll go back on what they said even after you left leading to ridiculous and unnecessary messages. I don't mean to be rude, but it's kind of goofy to have one of your worker message someone after they left about their references so that they will reach out after being told that they can in writing and get in a mess. Maybe they need what they said to be translated back into something that they understand or they have amnesia.
-Care more about networking. If you're not good enough for networking with, they will write you off. Telling people to get lost would be less harsh than how they did it to some people.
